This directory has been compiled on the basis of data voluntarily sent by respective journalists/writers. No attempt has been made to insert details of journalists/writers without their consent. Given the nature of the directory, frequent updates will be made available to journalists/writers. Some of the features of the Directory of Journalists (Goa) are as follows: I. Operating System: The file, created in Excel, is easily accessible in Windows (such as Excel) or Linux (such as OpenOffice). Simply download the file (See Below). II. Frequency of updates: The Directory of Journalists (Goa) will be updated on a regular basis. III. Quick Find: The Quick Find option (Ctrl+F) allows the user to search the record of a journalist, based on any word in the database. IV. Quick sort on media houses: A small arrow in the 'Media Organisation' cell enables a user to sort on journalists belonging to a particular news organisation. If the option is used, only those records which match the required news organisation will be displayed on the screen. To return to the entire list, simply return to the small arrow and select 'All'.
